Business Viability Reviews - We provide a variety of different business reviews that range from short term high level reviews to a detailed business assessment. A business review typically includes a review of the current financial position and future business prospects. The review generally includes an assessment of some or all of the following:

  • Current financial position
  • Critical issues facing the organization
  • Operations review including an assessment of business processes, management, information systems, and inventory management
  • Competitive analysis
  • Reasonableness of the current business plan, short term and longer term prospects
  • Analysis of options
  • Recommendations for business to maximize opportunities in both the short and long term.
Performance Improvement - We assist clients in identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives, management and control, and improve the quality of their business processes.

We use our experience to focus on critical short term issues including financial performance and cash flow management, as well as assisting businesses in improving or supplementing existing management. Unlike other consultancies, we are able to assist in the implementation of recommendations, either directly or by finding the appropriate short term and longer management resources.

Turnaround Management - We assist organizations by acting directly in an advisory role to the board or management, assisting with identifying and hiring appropriate management personnel, including financial, operational and senior management.

We also provide interim management, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, VP Operations, as well as mid management functions of controller, Vice President manufacturing. Our staff has acted as interim CEO, interim CFO, and Controller, on a secondment basis for several organizations.

Corporate Reorganization & Restructuring - Members of The Bowra Group have extensive experience in a variety of business reorganizations involving small, mid size and large corporations. This includes acting in the restructuring of operating entities with over 2000 employees and sales in excess of $500Million, to small companies with less than 10 employees and sales of under $5Million. These assignments have included
  • Instrument appointed Agent under an assignment of book debts, or Bank Act security
  • Instrument appointed Receiver or Receiver Manager
  • Court appointed Receiver or Receiver Manager
  • Interim Receiver
  • Trustee in Bankruptcy
  • Monitor under The Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act
  • Chief Restructuring Officer under The Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act
  • Trustee in Bankruptcy under a Division 1 Proposal
Specific Industry experience -The Group has had extensive experience in a variety of industries including the forest industry, the hospitality, real estate and manufacturing industries.
