The Bowra Group Inc. was appointed Receiver Manager (the “Receiver”) of BTB Property Holdings Ltd., Miller Meadows Development Corp., 2062644 Alberta Ltd. and 2062646 Alberta Ltd.(collectively the “Companies”) on April 9, 2020 pursuant to a Court Order of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta.
The Companies owned and operated a 57-unit Econo Lodge Motel and a ~6,306 square foot Ricky’s Family Restaurant, sitting on a 1.78-acre site in Brooks, Alberta.
The Bowra Group Inc. in its capacity as Court appointed Receiver of BTB, Miller Meadows, 644 and 646, is requesting offers to purchase the Companies’ property and assets of the hotel and restaurant located at:
1119 2 Street West, Brooks, Alberta.

The Receiver in accordance with its powers under and pursuant to the Receivership Orders, is applying to the Court for an Order approving the sale of the Companies’ assets and vesting title to a purchaser free and clear of all encumbrances. The Receiver’s application is scheduled to be heard at the Edmonton Law Courts at 10:00 a.m. MST on Friday November 27, 2020. Please be advised that due to rising COVID-19 concerns the application will be proceeding by way of teleconference. On December 4, 2020, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta granted an Order vesting title and approving the sale of the Company’s assets to 2300189 Alberta Ltd.
