Hawkeye Energy Corporation


Overview

Hawkeye Energy Corporation (the “Company”) developed “run of river power projects” and owned various land tenures and water license applications.

The Bowra Group Inc. was appointed Receiver of the Company on September 1, 2009 by an Order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

The Receiver offered the Company’s assets for sale and the sale was approved by an Order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia on December 5, 2014.

The Receiver anticipates distributing net proceeds of sale of approximately $300,000 to creditors of the Company.

Court Orders

By order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia pronounced on February 20, 2015, the Bowra Group Inc., as Court appointed Receiver of Hawkeye Energy Corporation (the “Debtor”) has been authorized and directed to conduct a claims process to identify persons who may have claims of any kind or nature against the Debtor (the “Claims Process”).

A copy of the Claims Process and Claims Package is available below. Please refer to the Claims Process Order for additional information with respect to the Claims Process.

Persons who have claims against the Debtor, including contingent and unliquidated claims, must prove their claims in the Claims Process by completing a Proof of Claim and submitting it to the Receiver in the manner set out in the Claims Process Order.

All Proof of Claims must be received by the Receiver on or before the Claims Bar Date of March 31, 2015.
